1. Healing is holistic—and it must reach the root.

Top-down (cognitive) work helps you understand how your body-mind system functions. Bottom-up (somatic) practices help discharge survival energy. Both are valuable—but on their own, they’re not enough. Many people get lost in information overload or end up focusing solely on nervous system regulation, without addressing the root of what’s causing the dysregulation in the first place.

To truly heal, we need more than insight and regulation.
